A Laugh a Minute
When was the last time you laughed? I mean really laughed, not just laughed because someone expected you to laugh. Has it been a long time since you laughed?
According to doctors, humor, especially laughter, affects your body as well as your mind. It was discovered that walking on an exercise machine for 15 minutes was about the same as laughing for 10 minutes.
Some years ago, a man called Norman discovered that he was very ill. Doctors told him that he had only a short time to live. Die? He didn’t want to. He asked his friends to tell him as many funny things as they could. He watched old comedy movies, and he laughed himself silly. His health improved. It’s true that he did die in the end, but laughter probably helped him to live longer than everyone expected.
Do yourself a favor: Check yourself for a week and check the number of times you’ve laughed. If you find that you haven’t laughed very much, then you are probably taking life too seriously. Read these jokes and have a laugh for your health.

Waiter: Would you like a cup of tea or coffee?
Man: I’ll have a cup of tea.
Woman: Me, too. And be sure the cup is clean!
(Waiter goes out, then returns.)
Waiter: Here are two cups of tea. Who asked for the clean cup?

A teacher called a student up to the front of the class and asked a lot of questions, but the student couldn’t answer any of them. The teacher then decided to ask him some very easy questions so that he could get a few right
“Who was Wang-geon? she asked.
The student thought for some time and then answered, “Was he a soccer player?”
“No, he was the first king of Goryeo,” the teacher answered. She was getting a little angry now, but she was trying not to show it. Then she asked, “Who was the first President of the Korea?” The student thought for a long time, but didn’t say anything. Then the teacher got very angry and shouted, “Yi Seung-man!” The student turned and began to walk back to his seat.
“Come back!” the teacher said. “I didn’t tell you to go.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” the student said. “I thought you called the next student.”

There was a fancy restaurant in New York named ‘George and the Dragon.’
One evening, a person who had not eaten in several days came up to the side door of the restaurant and rang the doorbell. A woman showed up. The man then asked, “Could you please give me something to eat? I have not eaten anything for the last four days.” The woman took a look at the man and shouted at him, “Go away! We are not a charity.”
The man rang the bell again. Again the woman answered the door. The man said, “The name of this restaurant is ‘George and the Dragon,’ isn’t it?” “Yes, it is!” the woman shouted again.
“Oh,” said the man. “Then can I speak to George, please?”
