Long time ago in Bethlehem so the Holy Bible say
오래 전 베들레헴의 성경에 써 있기를

 

Mary's boy child Jesus Christ was born on Christmas day

크리스마스 아기 예수는 마리아에게 나심이라

 

Hark, now hear the angels sing
자 천사들의 찬양을 들으세요

 

A new King's born today

새로운 왕이 오늘 나셨네
(A King was born today)

왕께서 탄생하신 날이라

And man will live for evermore because of  Christmas Day

크리스마스 때문에 계속 기억하리라

( Trumpets sound and angels sing )
나팔이 울리고 천사가 노래하니

( Listen to what they say )

무슨 뜻인지 귀 기우리세요
( That Man will live for  evermore, Because of Christmas Day )
(그는 크리스마스 때문에 계속 기억되리라 )

 

While shepherds watch their flock by night, they see a bright new shining star

목동이 밤에 양떼를 지킬 때, 반짝이는 별하나를 발견해요.

 

They hear a choir of angel's sing the music seem to come from afar

멀리서 들려오는 천사들의 찬양이 들립니다.

 

( And heard a choir from heaven sing, the music came from afar )

또한 그 찬양이 천국의 합창단이란 것을 알게 되지요

 

Hark, now hear the angels sing
자 들어보세요 천사의 찬양을

 

A new King's born today

새로운 왕이 오늘 탄생했어요
(A King was born today)

오늘 탄생하신 왕이라

And man will live for evermore because of  Christmas Day
사람은 크리스마스가 있기에 그를 영원히 기억하리라

 

( Trumpets sound and angels sing )
 나팔이 울리고 천사가 노래하니

 ( Listen to what they say )

무슨 뜻인지 귀 기우려봐요

( That Man will live for  evermore, Because of Christmas Day )
(사람은 크리스마스가  있기에 계속 그를 기억하리라 )

 

Mary's boy child Jesus Christ was born on Christmas day

마리의 남자 아기 예수가 크리스마스에 태어나셨지요

 

Now, Joseph and his wife, Mary came to bethlehem that night

이제 요셉과 그의 아내 마리가 바로 베들레헴에 옴이라

 

They found no place to bear her child not a single room was in sight

아기 낳을 방 하나도 구하지 못한 상태로 실망했지요

And then they found a little nook in a stable all forlorn

그러나 곧 쓸쓸한 외양간의 작은 구석을 발견했답니다

 

And in a manger cold and dark Mary's little Boy child was born

춥고 어두운 구유에서 마리아의 남자아기가 태어 났어요,

Hark, now hear the angels sing
들어보세요. 저 천사들의 노래를  

 

A new King born today

 

새로운 왕이 오늘 나심이라

And man will live for evermore because of  Christmas Day
이젠 사람에겐 크리스마스 날이 있어서  영원히 기억되리라

(나팔이 울리고 천사가 노래하니)

( Listen to what they say )

( 무슨 말인지 들어보세요)
( That Man will live for  evermore, Because of Christmas Day )
( 그 사람은 크리스마스 때문에 영원히 살것이다)
