Bees are some of the most useful insects to people. They make honey. Honey is made by worker bees. Field bees and house bees are called worker bees. Field bees get something sweet from flowers. When they collect it, they take it to the house bees. They work as a team and make honey together.

There are three kinds of bees. Most bees are small worker bees. There are also a few male bees. They are a little bigger than worker bees. The male bees don't work. The biggest bee is the queen. The queen stays at home and lays eggs. So the worker bees feed her.

Soccer is one of the most popular sports. The game is called football in Europe, Asia and South America. But in the United States and Canada, it is called soccer.
The game of soccer started in England in the 1850s. More and more people came to enjoy soccer. In 1908, it became an Olympic sport. Since then it has been popular in many countries.

The World Cup gives us fun and great excitement. It is played every four years. Many people all over the world watch the games on television.
The first World Cup was held in Uruguay in 1930. At that time only thirteen teams played. Uruguay won the first World Cup. Since then it has become more and more popular. Today, it is one of the largest sports events.

Inho: What's the capital of the United States?
Ann: It's Washington D.C.
Inho: Why is it called Washington D.C.?
Ann: Its name comes from George Washington, the first president.
Inho: What does D.C. mean?
Ann: It means District of Columbia.
Inho: Is it the largest city in America?
Ann: No. But it is one of the most interesting cities in our country.

Dialogue 2

Inho: What is the White House?
Ann: It's the official home of the President of the United States.
Inho: Did the first president live there?
Ann: No, the second president built the building.
Inho: Why is it called the White House?
Ann: In 1812, the first building was burned down by the English. It was built again          and the walls were painted white.
Inho: I see. So it was called the White House after that.
