<Topic 1> Let's Go to the Expo

There will be a school Expo next week. It's a big event at Sora's school every year. Hundreds of people can see their children's works at the Expo.
Sora is going to show her photo album. She has worked on it with her brother for a long time. Jane, her friend, has dozens of postcards from abroad. She will show them at this Expo. Minsu and Nuri have made a nice movie in their club. The name of the movie is "Clean Up Our World."

 

 

<Topic 2> Come to th Concert

The music concert is one of our school events. Some students will sing pop songs. A few students will sing folk songs. Hana will present pansori. I find pansori interesting.
Pansori is a kind of folk play. A pansori singer tells a story using songs. The singer sings, speaks and uses gestures. A drummer sits in front of the singer. The drummer often shouts, "good" or "nice". This makes the singer and the people excited. They find it fun and interesting.
Hana has learned pansori for three years. She will present a part of Chunhyangga. She will wear beautiful Korean clothes. She will sing songs with a fan in her hand. I am sure that she will do well.

Dialogue 1

A: What do you like doing in the swap class?
B: We like learning about saving, sharing, and swapping things.
A: That's good. Can I join the class?
B: Yeah, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
A: Thank you. I'm sure we'll work together.

Dialogue 2

A: How about going our pot-luck dinner party?
B: What's pot-luck party?
A: Each of us brings something to eat. Then we all share it.
B: I like that idea.
